This was a great week for the Magium team. It was MagentoLive Europe. MagentoLive is a premier event attended by merchants, partners, and developers to get the latest on Magento success stories and hear industry leaders in live keynote sessions, merchant panels, and workshops.
There were some cracking speakers delivering keynotes this year including Dame Stephanie Shirley. Dame Shirley gave an extremely uplifting and moving speech, detailing her flight from Nazi Germany and arrival in Britain as an unaccompanied child refugee. Dame Shirley grew up to become Founder Director of FI Group Plc, an innovative business venture to become one of Britain’s leading Information Technology Groups.
There were some fantastic session tracks, both technical and commercial. Of particular interest were the B2B sessions. Magium has worked on a number of exciting B2B projects, such as Duffells , so it was great to hear other examples of complex, integrated B2B deployments.
The opportunity to network and talk with fellow partners, merchants and of course the Magento team. There were some big announcements, too, including new features and releases.
We’re looking forward to more events in the new year. Bring on 2020!
